Wright State University Biomedical Engineering Students
Begin Phase Four of the Adaptive RC Sailboat Project

The Adaptive RC Sailer Project remains a high interest item among the undergraduate Biomedical Engineering students at Wright State University, Dayton, Ohio. A group of four students have begun Phase 4 of the project as their Senior Design Capstone Project for 2023-24. The primary goal is to incorporate enhanced voice control of a model RC sailboat's rudder and sails using a Raspberry Pi Pico Dual-Core ARM Cortex M0+ RP2040 Processor. A secondary effort involves exploring alternate control modalities including head tilt and positional accelerometers, electroencephalographs, and electromyogram events. The modifications will be demonstrated using a DragonFlite DF95.
